Bromic’s Legacy Remote Controllers

On/Off Controller

Bromic’s independent ‘On/Off’ outdoor heater controller will let you manage up to two electric or four gas heaters across two separate circuits from up to 100ft away via the handheld wireless remote.


Dimmer Controller

Move beyond the base-model wireless controller with the Bromic Dimmer Controller. Suitable for our electric heaters, the dimmer control provides the ability to precisely adjust the electric heat output in 1% increments, or quickly jump by 25% increments, making it an ideal outdoor heater switch for custom comfort.


Eclipse Dimmer Controller

Set up the perfect ambience with the Bromic Eclipse Dimmer Control and wireless remote. Suitable for our Eclipse Pendant and Portable series, the Bromic Eclipse Dimmer Remote can quickly dim the lighting in 1% increments and the heating output (0%, 33%, 66%, 100%) to create the perfect ambience – every time.


Master Remote

Our Bromic Master Remote is invaluable for larger venues. Offering user-programmable customization, the Bromic Master Remote gives you full control over an unlimited number of heaters in up to 6 groups within its 100ft range when paired with our Dimmer Controller.


Smart-Heat Link

Pair Bromic’s heating control options with the Bromic Smart-Heat Link to create a seamless communication between Bromic outdoor heaters and your smart home controls technology. What is the difference between the 1 channel and 2 channel On/Off and Dimmer controllers?

Single Channel Controls are rated for 6kW maximum, Dual Channel controls are rated for 12 kW maximum. Both Single and Dual Channel options can control multiple heaters within their maximum capacity.

  • Examples:
    • A Single 6 kW On/Off Control is compatible with 2 Platinum 2300W Electric Heaters or a single Tungsten 6 kW.
    • A Dual 12 kW Dimmer Control is compatible with 2 Tungsten 6000W Electric Heaters.
    • A Single 6 kW On/Off Control is compatible with up to 10 Gas Heaters, operating as a single block.

Does the Affinity Collection of controls come with a remote?

The Affinity Collection of controls are App based only and do not ship with a physical remote.


Where should I mount the Affinity line of controls?

The Affinity Collection can be mounted indoors or outdoors in well-ventilated areas and do not need cover. Please check the product literature for specific clearances and mounting recommendations.


Are the Affinity line of controls waterproof?

Yes, they are IP54 rated and are determined to be rainproof.


Do I need to purchase controls separately or do they come with my heater?

No, controls are not included. Bromic offers a variety of control options for your application. Please visit Bromic.com/controls for more information.


Can the heaters be paired with automatic controls such as timers and thermostats?

The Bromic App includes both timer/scheduling function. Radiant heat does not apply to thermostat control.


What is the operating range of Bromic’s Affinity Collection of controls?

The Bromic APP allows users to control their heaters via Wi-Fi via a smart device so heaters can be operated from anywhere the users has an internet connection. With Bluetooth connectivity, you will need to be within 30ft of the controller box.


Can the Affinity Collection of controls work with my Google Home Or Alexa Device?

Yes, the Affinity Controls are compatible with Alexa and Google Home.


Can the Affinity line of controls be integrated with my home automation system?

Yes, the Affinity Controls can be integrated with both Home and Business automation systems with the addition of the Smart-Heat Expansion Board using 0-10v control. The expansion board is built into the 5-Channel controllers.


I would like to switch heaters off after a time period?

This function is available in different settings. Firstly, when you turn on an appliance, you can also set a timer off interval. You set this each time the heater is turned on and it will then countdown to the interval duration and automatically switch the appliance off. Set this function by clicking the appliance name to go to the detailed screen and setting the timer off internal at the bottom of the screen. Alternatively, you can set the timer off delay using schedules. This feature is only available to WiFi connected appliances.


Where do I find the serial number of the controller?

The serial number is represented as a 14 digit code (eg CONF2C23080005). The digits will be different for each type of controller. The serial number is printed on the product label attached to the controller. It can also be located via the menu on the Bromic Smat-Heat App, under Site configuration-> Edit Site. All the controllers will be listed and within each controller setting you can identify the connected heaters.
